10.5” iPad Pro to Debut Next Year

Apple iPad’s future is still in question mark and the company has not said any word about the next iPad models launch, however some big predictions are circulating. Recently, a research report brought up by a well reputed Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo which defined the iPad evolution over the next two years that Apple has not yet revealed to the public.

10.5” iPad Pro and iPads with AMOLED Display

Top prediction to discuss here is the 10.5 inch size iPad Pro which could said to be a medium size iPad Pro as it resides between 12.9 Inch iPad Pro and the 9.7 inch low cost iPad Pro.

Apple is also expected to introduce the radical changes in form factor design and bring AMOLED display permanently to iPads. This may help Apple to increase the demand as different iPad models’ design remained unchanged in past few years, while design innovations attract the users.

The analyst expects the 10.5 Inch iPad pro to release in 2017 along with the 12.9 Inch iPad Pro and the “low-cost” 9.7-inch iPad pro model. While the iPads with AMOLED display are projected to launch in 2018. However, Kuo has no words to say about the 8 inch iPad mini models. It might be the reason that now iPhone has raised the size range with iPhone plus which lessens the demand of Apple’s smallest sized iPad.

While in term of Apple iPad shipments, Kuo remained hardliner as his research determines iPad shipments to reduce from 45-45 million to 35-45 million in the quarter, reasoning a non existence of new models before the end of this year. Moreover, even with the release of updated models in 2017 Kuo foretells shipments will continue to decline along with the low trend of tablet market.

iPad Pro 2 Launch

Separately, there are still some rumors about the launch of iPad Pro 2 by the end of this year. New iPad Pro is anticipated to come with A10X chipset, larger pixel camera and larger storage version as compared to predecessor while there are no more changes expected.
