After introducing sleek looking Lenovo Home Assistant Pack with Amazon Alexa functionality for tablets in August, the company has finally made it available to the public. Lenovo Home Assistant Pack is available via AT&T store at the reasonable price of $80.
The Lenovo’s Home Assistant Pack comes with a voice activated personal assistant powered by Amazon Alexa as information source. You can use it for the actions on voice commands, set hands free alerts, to do lists, making some appointments, searching something, and you can ask for the answers including live scores in sports, and related tasks etc.
Under the hood, Home Assistant Pack has 2 powerful 3-watt speakers so it can be used with your any compatible Lenovo tablet to listen music with a lot more comfort to your ears than the regular tablet speakers do. This device has far field mics located on top which are able to recognize the user voice from 8 feet or 3 meters away. However, for some kind of privacy you can utilize its kill switch functionality to disable the mics.
Although Lenovo Home Assistant Pack looks sturdy but surprisingly it weighs only 300 grams. It can also be utilized as a side docked tablet stand with Micro-USB connectivity. It requires you to attach with compatible Lenovo tablet and the screen of tablet automatically shows up the home assistant interface.
The tablets compatible for Lenovo Home Assistant Pack are 8-inch Lenovo Tab 4 8 and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, and 10.1-inch Lenovo Tab 4 10 and Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus. It also supports Lenovo Moto Tab. All compatible tablets should be running Android 7.1.
