Dell has announced the launch of 2-in-1 Windows tablet and two convertible notebooks. 2-in-1 tablet named Dell Latitude 7285 while two convertibles are known as Dell Latitude 7389 and 5289.
2-in-1 tablet Latitude 7285 has a 12.3-inch 2880 x 1920p screen comes with wireless charging support. The wireless charging of Dell Latitude 7285 relies on WiTricity’s magnetic resonance wireless charging technology and a charging plate. The charging plate will charge as long as 2-in-1 tablet docked on it.
The Windows 10 2-in-1 Tablet specs Intel Core i5-7Y75 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It features an 8 Megapixel rear camera, a front camera of 720 pixel quality, and an IR camera with Windows Hello Support. Device is powered by 34 Wh battery, while it comes with two Thunderbold 3/USB Type-C ports. Dell Active Pen is also supported on this Dell’s 2-in-1 which can be purchased separately.
Dell 2-in-1 tablet is available to buy from Dell at the starting price of $1200. While if you want the option of wireless charging in 2-in-1 state then you will also need to buy Wireless Charging keyboard along with charging plate. The price of the charging plate is $200 and Keyboard will cost you $380. If you buy both things together then it will cost you $549($29 saving versus buying separately). Meanwhile among two convertibles announced, Dell Latitude 5289 has 12-inch screen while the Dell Latitude 7389 comes with 13-inch display. Latitude 5289 is also available for order with the starting price $900, while Latitude 7389 will be available from August.
