New Kobo Aura H2O Specification and Features
These Kobo’s words about the device give nice glimpse of its scope; “Just in time for summer, Kobo empowers passionate readers to enjoy worry-free reading wherever they go. Are you BeachBookReady?”
This eReader is waterproof, it means users can enjoy reading books from anywhere and anytime without worrying about the wet weather conditions or staying near the water like in the beach or during bath. It really can give worriless reading moments to eBooks lovers.
Its 6.8-Inch display can be attractive for any eBooks lover who want an eReader with larger screen size as compared to 6-inch Kindle. The screen size is quite reasonable for the readers because 6.8-Inch doesn’t make this eReader too small like phablets and not too bulky to hold it with single hand, while it weighs 210 grams.
The anti-glare E Ink display helps users to easily read in direct sunlight by transforming the reading experience into print-on-paper. While ComfortLight PRO feature on Kobo’s eReader reduces blue-light spectrum. So Kobo claims it’s more comfortable for readers who enjoy reading before bed as compared to other eReaders available in the Market.
In this edition of Aura H2O, Kobo has removed MircoSD Card slot while increased the internal storage to 8GB which is capable to store at least 6000 eBooks.
The eReader will come in black color featuring micro-USB port, WiFi connection, 1500 mAh battery, battery frugal screen, ComfortLight PRO and anti-glare Carta E Ink, 265 ppi display.
Main Countries getting Kobo Aura H2O on 21st May are US, UK, Italy, France, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, and Turkey. Other countries include Australia, New Zealand, and Philippines, with Mexico and Brazil to receive eReader from June.
