Since the official unveil in February the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus has been long awaited for its availability in US. But now we have a good news that this tablet finally hits the US markets. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus models are available to purchase from major stores in US including Amazon and B&H at the price of $229.99 and 279.99, respectively.
However, it’s important to know that the international unveiled Tab 4 Plus model comes with the 3GB & 4GB RAM and 32GB & 64GB storage options but the Tab 4 Plus models launched in US are available with only 2GB RAM and 16GB storage option. So we can say for US both Lenovo 4 Plus tablets are yet available with downgraded specs.
On the other hand both tablets are 4G LTE supported and no Wi-Fi only model yet made available to US. So both are different Lenovo Tab 4 slates than the ones released in Barcelona having only WiFi-only variants.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has 8-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. While Tab 4 10 Plus has also same specs but features a 10.1-inch screen. Both slate come with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. Lenovo claims that 7000 mAh battery of the Tab 4 Plus 10 can keep the tablet alive upto 20 hours, which merely cannot be true.
Tab 4 Plus tablets features a fingerprint reader, QC 3.0 Quick Charge with 4 hour charging time, while connectivity features include a USB Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi cover with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 4.2. Both have front facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. As we know OREO is latest one to expect in new devices but this slates comes up running Android 7.1 Nougat.
