Now Google Assistant is also Arriving to Tablets

Google is looking to expand the availability of its Assistant to more devices, and now finally it is also arriving to tablets. It’s the solution by Google which is already more appreciated than other top digital assistants in market like Siri, Cortana and Bixby.

Google Assistant was first launched in February to all android phones after availability to Pixel handsets. While it was compatible with only Android 6.0 or higher and fortunately now it has also been made available to old phones. So the next phase was tablets, and now they will also be able to use Google’s solution as long they have Android 6.0 or higher. To get it on your tablet the language should be set to U.S. English.

The devices with older android versions like Android 5.0 Lollipop already getting the Assistant. As we know Android 5.0 Lollipop has 26.3% share among all android OS version so a large number of users will be getting it.

If you have compatible device then you will get Assistant with the app update of Google Play Services. It means you don’t need to wait for OTA update from your OEM. After update you will see the Assistant app icon on your app draw. For more info checkout Google’s page for its Assistant.
